About this opening:

Commitment: approx. 5-10 hrs a week We are looking for a creative and reliable Graphic Designer to join our media and marketing team. The ideal candidate can take ideas, event details, and brand guidelines and turn them into visually appealing graphics for social media, events, and campaigns. Key Responsibilities

• Design social media graphics, posters, banners, and other marketing materials.
• Work closely with the Marketing Coordinator and Events Team to understand project needs.
• Ensure all designs follow brand guidelines and maintain consistent visual identity.
• Deliver high-quality designs on time, meeting all deadlines.
• Make revisions based on feedback from the marketing team.
• Prepare and organize files properly for publishing and archiving.
• Attend team meetings when needed to understand upcoming campaigns and content requirements.

Skillset: Education

• Diploma or certificate in Graphic Design, Visual Communication, Media Arts, or related field(OR equivalent hands-on experience for junior designers) Experience
• 1–2 years of experience in creating social media graphics or general graphic design.
• A portfolio of past work (social media designs, posters, etc.) is required
• Experience with Canva or Adobe Creative Suite.
• Experience working with marketing teams or event-based content is an asset. Skills Required
• Strong understanding of design principles: layout, color, typography, spacing.
• Proficiency in Canva and/or professional tools like Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign (depending on level).
• Ability to interpret instructions and turn ideas into clean, modern graphics.
• Creativity and attention to detail.
• Strong communication skills and willingness to receive feedback.
• Ability to manage multiple design tasks at once.
• Understanding of social media formats and aspect ratios.
