About this opening:
Commitment: approx. 3-7 hrs a week We are seeking a creative and detail-oriented Graphic Designer to develop engaging visual content that supports our organization’s branding, marketing, communications, and digital presence. The Graphic Designer will create designs for various platforms, ensuring consistency, creativity, and alignment with organizational goals.
Key Responsibilities
- Design creative graphics for social media, websites, newsletters, advertisements, flyers, posters, presentations, and promotional materials.
- Develop visual concepts and layouts based on project requirements and brand guidelines.
- Create engaging digital and print materials to support campaigns, events, programs, and initiatives.
- Collaborate with marketing, communications, and program teams to understand design needs and deliver effective visuals.
- Maintain consistency in branding, typography, colors, and overall visual identity across all materials.
- Edit and enhance images, illustrations, and other visual assets as needed.
- Create templates and reusable design assets to improve workflow efficiency.
- Stay updated with current design trends, tools, and best practices.
- Manage multiple design projects while meeting deadlines and maintaining quality standards.
- Assist with other creative tasks as required.
Skillset:
- Experience or education in Graphic Design, Visual Arts, Communications, or a related field.
- Proficiency in design software such as Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign) or Canva.
- Strong understanding of design principles, typography, composition, and branding.
- Ability to create visually appealing and audience-focused designs.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple projects.
- Good communication and collaboration skills.
- Ability to work independently and take creative initiative.
