About this opening:
Commitment: approx. 5 hrs a week
- Work with marketing team to execute ideas into impactful posters with compelling visuals.
- Adhere to brand guidelines, develop visual brand identities, maintain consistency across brand materials.
- Ability to take detailed information and output concise graphics.
- Collaborate with client/team to understand project goals, target audience, and design objectives. Brainstorm and propose ideas in line with these.
- Brainstorm and propose design concepts, layouts, and visual strategies.
- Use industry-standard software and tools to create and manipulate graphics, illustrations, and images. Ensure high-quality output and prepare files for print or digital distribution.
- Quick turnaround adapting designs based on client feedback, maintaining a balance between creativity and practicality.
- Manage multiple design projects simultaneously, prioritizing tasks, meeting deadlines, and maintaining effective communication with clients or team members.
- Stay updated with the latest design trends, techniques, and software advancements. Continuously enhance design skills and expand knowledge of best practices in graphic design.
- Must be able to handle tight/occasional short notice projects.
Skillset:
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
- Experience with design/graphics editing soft wares, such as Adobe Suite, Figma, Canva, Adobe Express or other industry-standard tools.
- Strong understanding of design principles, typography, color theory, and layout composition.
- Excellent creativity and artistic skills, with a keen eye for detail.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
- Effective time management and organizational skills.
- Portfolio showcasing a range of design projects and styles.
