About this opening:
Commitment: approx. 5-6 hrs a week
Core Responsibilities Set up and break down recording equipment for podcast sessions Record podcast video (single or multi-guest), ensuring consistent framing and audio sync Capture short-form content (social clips, reels, highlights) from sessions or standalone shoots Film organizational events, programs, or interviews as needed Export and deliver files in required formats and resolutions
Availability & Commitment Estimated X hours/month (to be defined based on recording schedule) Availability for scheduled recording sessions (recurring or as-needed) Reasonable turnaround time for edited deliverables (e.g., 5–7 business days)
What We Provide Access to any existing equipment (list what you have) Brand assets (logo, colors, intro/outro templates) Clear creative briefs per project Recognition in credits and on social media
Skillset/Experience Required:Must be able to get to Mississauga, Ontario, Canada Ideal candidates have: Proficiency with camera equipment (DSLR, mirrorless, or similar) Basic understanding of lighting setup (3-point or ring light) Familiarity with audio equipment (laplel mics, boom mics, audio interfaces) Video editing experience (Premiere Pro, DaVinci Resolve, CapCut, or similar) Knowledge of short-form platforms (Instagram Reels, TikTok, YouTube Shorts) is a plus Ability to follow brand guidelines for visual consistency
Soft Skills Reliable and communicates proactively about availability Comfortable directing talent/guests in front of camera Takes creative direction well and incorporates feedback Works well independently and within a small team
